So much of our inspiration for fashion and face radiates down from the red carpets of A-list events. Here at W3LL PEOPLE we believe in beauty without chemicals, parabens, or other yucky stuff! We believe that you can achieve your favorite looks without risking your skin, your health, or your values. In this new blog feature that we have aptly named W3LL DONE, we'll walk you through red carpet looks and how to achieve them the #GreenBeauty way!
First up is Hannah Davis at the 2015 Espy Awards. Clearly Caitlin Jenner (applause!) wasn't the only one turning heads that night, as model Hannah Davis totally stunned with a metallic smoky eye and mauve lip. We love how her eyes reflect the color and texture of her dress without stealing the show.
How can you get Hannah's look with green products? Start by working one of our neutral shadows from lash to brow as an all-over base. Our go-to shade is Elitist Eyeshadow Powder 838. Next, you will use Elitist 88 and 87 to add color, shine, and dimension to your eyes. Our eyeshadow powders come in satins or shimmers and all of them are made of potent, pure pigments that create beautiful eye looks the natural way.
Apply Elitist Eyeshadow Powder 87, a luminous taupe, to your inner eye to make it pop. Adding a small sweep to the arch of your brow also helps open and brighten the eye area. Next, darken the outer corners of your lids using our Elitist Eyeshadow Powder 88, a sparkling plum that will create a beautiful smoky effect when blended into the the more neutral shades.
Once your color is in place, line your eyes with our Hypnotist Eyepencil in black. Keep the line tight and work it into your lashes to help them look thick and lush. Our Hypnotist Eyepencil is free of chemicals and skin-aging adhesives, so rest assured that this product gives you results while moisturizing and nourishing your eye area. Finish your eyes with two coats of our Expressionist Mascara, recent winner of the Allure Best of Beauty Awards, to lengthen and strengthen your lashes without any of the harsh ingredients found in traditional mascara.
We will keep cheeks and lips neutral with just a wash of color. We've selected our Purist Blush Powder 62, a satin coral pink. Using a small blush brush, simply smile and work the color into the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion. Finish with a swipe of our Bio Extreme Lipgloss in nude rose, for a neutral, shiny color that hydrates with coconut oil and nourishes with organic aloe.
