We've watched in awe time and time again as she transforms complexions to look instantly sun-kissed, dewy and natural all year long. Here's her three-step process for perfecting the faux glow so that you can hang on to your summer color just a little bit longer.
STEP ONE: Keep It Fresh
First things first—keep your base light and sheer. Shirley strongly suggests starting with a tinted moisturizer (we'll debut one from W3LL PEOPLE later this year!), which will give you an effortless, light look. Next, apply our Bio Bronzer Powder to make your skin look sun-kissed. Sweep the bronzer down along your cheeks and along the bridge of your nose, where the sun naturally hits your face.
STEP TWO: You Glow, Girl!
We love simplicity, and you'll find that our Elitist 2010 Eyeshadow Powder is a multi-tasking powerhouse! This color is Shirley's secret weapon! 2010 is a pink champagne with a satin finish, helping even skin tone on your lids while providing a beautiful sheen. Try using it as a highlighter by lightly tapping it along orbital bones, arches, and along the center of your nose. You can also mix this shade into your favorite lipgloss for added dimension. If the skin on your face or body is feeling lackluster due to the transitioning seasons, you can also try popping a bit of our Elitist 2010 into your favorite face serum or body oil for lustrous skin from head to toe.
STEP THREE: Keep it Fun!
The spirit of summer is to be fun and carefree, and we love hanging on to that by transitioning to our Blue Expressionist Mascara. Although it looks bright in the tube, it goes on as a dark navy, creating a fun, eye brightening, youthful look for fall and winter.
